Admission Requirements

What Are the Entry Requirements?

  • You must be at least 18 years old at the time of applying for admission.
  • Completion of the equivalent of Year 12 education is mandatory.

One of the following must be satisfied:

  • Satisfactory completion of studies in applicant's home country equivalent to an Australian Year 12 qualification.
  • Successful completion of a qualification from an institute where the mode of instruction was English and where the course duration was no less than 12 months.

Completion of unit CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement.

One of the following must be satisfied:

  • An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) band score of 6 or equivalent in line with regulations. Test results must be no more than 2 years old.
  • Successful completion of a qualification from an institute where the mode of instruction was English and where the course duration was no less than 6 months.
  • Completion of an approved English Language course.
  • Successful completion of an English Placement Test.

Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL may be accepted. You are required to provide your results so that equivalency to IELTS 6 can be confirmed.
